How can I schedule my event at the Veterans Museum & Memorial Center?

Call the Events Director at 619-239-2300 Tuesday - Friday,  9:00 am - 4:00 pm, or email inquiries to vmmc.events@pacbell.net.


How soon should I schedule my event?

In order to secure the date of your event, reserve it as soon as possible. Currently, events are being reserved a year in advance.


Is a deposit required?

Yes, to secure the date for your event, prepare to leave a deposit when you meet with the Event Director to finalize your event needs.


What can the museum provide for your event or meeting?

We will provide you with the room(s) to include the set up of chairs and tables per your specifications.


Do you provide catering?

No, we do not provide catering services, but we can provide you with a selection of caterers who are familiar with the Veterans Museum at Balboa Park or you can bring in your own caterer.


Do you decorate for an event?

No, we do not provide decorations. Please allow for and schedule time prior to your event start time to prepare for decorating or caterers. No confetti, glitter, open flames or helium/mylar balloons are allowed in the museum.


Do you provide a cleaning service?

No, you are responsible for leaving the museum clean. The museum will provide trash containers with bags. All trash must be placed in the containers. An additional charge will be required if musuem staff must conduct extra cleaning services.
