VOLUNTEERS

The Veterans Museum at Balboa Park has a small paid staff with volunteers performing most of the day to day operations. The museum is seeking individuals who will assist us in maintaining our mission of honoring the men and women who served their country in the U.S. Armed Forces and Wartime Merchant Marine. Military experience is not required.

A commitment of 4 hours per month for at least 4 months is highly desired. Soem of the benefits of volunteering at The Veterans Museum are museum discounts; the opportunity to meet others with similar interests and to meet visitors from all over the world; the opportunity to learn new skills; and a sense of well-being by honoring U.S. veterans.
